4. Fill your hearts with joy and gladness,

peace and plenty crown your days;

love his laws, declare his judgments,

walk in all his words and ways;

he the Lord and we his children--

praise the Lord, all people, praise!

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest,   I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

Reader:               Here endeth the first lesson

Answer:              Thanks be to God.

Then this Psalm shall be read by Mark Parker:

Deus misereatur. Psalm 67.

God be merciful unto us, and bless us: and shew us the light of his countenance, and be merciful unto us.

That thy way may be known upon earth: thy saving health among all nations.
