Winter 2010-2011

Sooner or later we were bound to get some real snow, the first storm (well actually a real blizzard) happened the day after Christmas, that's Boxing Day in England, so I am calling this the "Boxing Day Blizzard" even though that means nothing to most Americans. Anyway we got 18" of snow, which is pretty huge even by NY standards.

The second storm happened on January 7th. A more normal 8" this time, but still a pain in the ass to clean up. You may remember two years ago we had the Epiphany Ice storm this was nothing compared with that, so at least that was good.

The awesome Canon SLR camera we have continues to produce really great pictures, I got Judy a macro lens for Christmas, some of our first attempts at using it are below; my eye, various fish, tila's tooth and face. There is nothing this baby can't focus on. As the weather warms up you'll be seeing a lot more of these images
