Epiphany ice storm 2009

Epiphany (aka January 6th) is the day the wise men went to see baby Jesus. It also happens to be my grandfather’s birthday (Jan 6th 1905). Anyway this year, wise men and for that matter wise guys would have stayed home, we had an ice storm, beautiful but treacherous. For those who haven't seen one, literally everything gets covered in about 3/4" of ice. Unfortunately all that extra weight brings down trees and power lines galore. In our county alone 7000 people lost power.
