Advent 2009 Once again the year has flown past and Christmas is nearly upon us. We had a lovely Thanksgiving this year with Tanya and Joe. It's been a while and it was nice to see them again. Then we completed our front room furniture refresh by getting two lovely Chesterfield recliners, that look beautiful alongside Judy's desk. My office is currently right opposite Trump Tower, so that means I get to walk up Fifth Avenue most days. I love the shop windows there, particularly at Christmas time. Just like Broadway and the financial industry New York has be a world leader in this, the designers and dressers really do a fantastic job. I especially adore Henri Bendel, with the indoor diamond tree, you guys rock! Back to our own lighting efforts, this year we have been lucky to have several mild weekends so we decided to go all out and make some extra effort. So once again, we have them computerised and set to music and looking rather good I think. Check out the video below, yes I know my thumb is in shot, but it was the middle of a snow storm so I don't feel too bad about this. Which brings us to the bad news, Saturday 5th December brought the dreaded S word, yes that's right our first snowstorm. Only about three inches mostly late afternoon and overnight, but old man Winter is most definitely here.
